3 tips for enjoying your IXXI outdoors

Hey outdoor enthusiast! Did you know that you can upgrade not only your garden, balcony or terrace wall with a canvas print, but also with an IXXI? Thanks to its UV- and water-resistant material, IXXI is the perfect outdoor wall decoration. Of course, hanging your favorite photo or print outdoors requires a slightly different approach. That's why we've gathered some handy tips to help bring your outdoor space to life. Read on and get inspired by our tips & tricks!

Tip 1: Shelter from Rain & Sun

There's nothing quite like enjoying your IXXI wall decoration in the outdoor light. However, keep in mind that intense sunlight or a heavy rain shower can sometimes be too much for your masterpiece. While IXXI is UV- and water-resistant and holds up well in various weather conditions, it's important to protect it from excessive sun and rain. Hang it in a spot where it's shielded from direct sunlight and positioned slightly under an overhang or in a sheltered area to prevent an unwanted shower. This way, your IXXI will last even longer!

Tip 2: Stability is Key

Given the unpredictable Dutch weather, it's essential for your IXXI to withstand all elements. Naturally, you wouldn't want your IXXI to flutter like a kite on a windy day. Therefore, ensure a sturdy attachment to the wall. Besides using the usual Tesa Powerstrips at the top, we recommend using 2 Tesa Powerstrips at the bottom as well for added stability. This will keep your garden wall decoration right where it belongs – in your garden (and not your neighbor's).

undefined Tip: Think Tesa Powerstrips alone aren't enough? Enhance the attachment of your IXXI by securing wall clips with screws alternatively. Now you can hang your IXXI outdoors, no matter the weather.

Tip 3: Winter Season Protection

With winter approaching, it's wise to give your IXXI a winter slumber. Take it down from the wall and give a space inside your home a fresh look by hanging your IXXI indoors. Prefer to store it? Disassemble it or roll it up gently. This will safeguard your wall decoration from the wintry weather and ensure it's as good as new when spring arrives.
